All visitors require a visa before travelling to Bhutan except those from India, Bangladesh and the Maldives.

 

As part of the visa application process, you will be required to pay the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of US$100 per day per adult and US$ 50 for children between the age of 6-12 years. Children aged 5 years and below are exempted of SDF. A non-refundable, one-off visa application fee of US$40 is also payable.

 

Visitors from India require a travel permit to visit Bhutan. While visa fees are not applicable to Indian travellers, a SDF of INR 1200 per day per adult is applicable. INR 600 for children between the age of 6-12 years. Children aged 5 years and below are exempted of SDF.
